• Hi, I have a Vauxhall astra which I wanted to trade in for a newer model but I still have finance left to pay with Vauxhall finance. There is about 18 months left and I pay £250 a month so I must owe about £3750. I want to trade it in for a new one and I think it is worth about £5000 as we buy any car offered me this online. I spoke to a dealer the other day and they weren’t very helpful and said I would need to settle the finance before they would take it from me. I would appreciate some help and advice and maybe a quote for my next car loan as well. Thanks.

• I have spoken to a company called ACF Car Finance who say they can provide me with a car loan but they want me to buy one of their cars. I have seen a Peugeot 308 at a dealership closer to me and it is in really nice condition and doesn’t sound expensive.
