I’m looking for a car loan but have bad credit. My problems started when I was young and irresponsible but I have realised the error of my ways and need some help with repairing my credit score. From what I have read I need to take out a loan or credit card which I have avoided in the last few years. Apparently this will improve my credit score as long as I make the payments on time! I did have 2 CCJs from 6 years ago which I have now repaid and they are classed as “satisfied”. I was recommended to you by a work colleague who you helped and I was hoping that you can get me a car loan despite my bad credit. I could do with about £10k and have found a car at a local car dealer which I fancy. Can you help and how long does it take for you to get an answer?

Thanks for you email and your questions. Firstly please do pass on our thanks to your work colleague for recommending us, at The Car Loan Warehouse we do pride ourselves on our customer service and it is really rewarding to hear that our customers are happy too.

From your email I understand that you need help with getting a car loan for £10,000 even though you have had bad credit history and CCJs in the past. This is not an unusual situation to find your self in Jo and many of our customers have bad credit and still managed to get the car loan that they needed.

As long is you are in permanent employment and are not in a probationary period we should be fine to help you. We may need a couple of payslips or a copy of your last 2 months bank statements to show that you can afford the repayments but otherwise it should be very straight forwards.
