Design
While the Alhambra might appear expensive, it’s cheaper than its mechanically identical twin, the Volkswagen Sharan. In terms of design, the SEAT Alhambra is made for flexibility. The seats in the rear of the car are individual and, in the centre row, they can recline, slide and fall forward – making it easier to gain access to the back row seating. Performance & Handling
While it might be tall and not the easiest car to navigate around town, this SEAT still manoeuvres well around corners. When it comes to performance, the Alhambra is available with a 138bhp or 168bhp 2.0 litre diesel engine and, while the more powerful of the two certainly feels quicker, the 138bhp version is surprisingly nippy for such a big family car. Whichever engine you choose, the Alhambra is smooth and quiet, with well-weighted steering and responsive suspension – making for a comfortable drive on all counts.
