Hyundai i800 Review

January 5, 2016

It’s a new year and we’re bringing you a brand new review. Today, we’ve got the Hyundai i800 in our sights – and we can’t wait to see to see what makes this impressive car stand out from the crowd.

Do you fancy getting your hands on a practical people carrier? Join us today for our full Hyundai i800 review – where we’ll look at design, performance, features and price. And if you’re looking for a hand financing your new wheels, we can help there, too!

Design

The huge van-like Hyundai i800 can carry up to 8 people and despite it’s outward appearance, the inside still has a car-like feel that’s incredibly comfortable and family friendly – as well as panoramic views and hard-wearing plastic materials.

Unlike most people carriers, the Hyundai i800 comes with bags of room – even at full capacity there’s plenty of legroom and a huge 851 litres of luggage space means there’s more than enough room for your carry on. The sliding middle bench moves back and forth and 60:40 split folding seats mean you can adjust the car’s layout to suit your passengers.

Performance & Handling

There’s no disguising the fact that the Hyundai i800 commands attention on the road – but despite its size, the powerful 2.5 litre engine is more than capable. With the i800, Hyundai has manufactured a large and practical people carrier that also has precision handling – making it easy to maneuver through traffic.

As you’d expect, running costs won’t be cheap with a car of this size. The 2.5 litre diesel engine comes with either 134bhp or 168bhp – with the former giving the best blend of performance in terms of fuel economy and CO2 emissions. The 134bhp returns 37.7mpg with CO2 emissions of 197g/km.

Features

In terms of trims, the latest Hyundai i800 is only available in the SE trim – which comes with an abundance of standard kit for your money. Some of the equipment includes dual-control air conditioning, 16 inch alloy wheels, MP3 and Bluetooth connectivity, privacy glass, leather-clad steering wheel and gear stick, ISOfix seat anchors in the second row, a trip computer, heated seats and parking sensors. Other added bonuses are two front air-bags, anti-lock brakes and electronic stability control system for heightened safety and control – as well as the Hyundai 5 year unlimited mileage warranty.

Hyundai i800 Finance

With a new Hyundai i800 for sale from just £24,825, it’s a very well-priced car for the space and on-board kit.
