I have been offered a car loan from carloan4u but they have told me that I have to borrow at least £5000. I only want to borrow £3000 for a ford fiesta or another smallish hatchback. I don’t want to get into debt again so I thought a small loan would be sensible. Can you help me?

I have spoken to a company called ACF Car Finance who say they can provide me with a car loan but they want me to buy one of their cars. I have seen a Peugeot 308 at a dealership closer to me and it is in really nice condition and doesn’t sound expensive. My friend recommended me to this dealer so I was hoping you might be able to get me a car loan so I can get this Peugeot. I was quoted £285 a month. Can you do any better?

Have been accepted with a company called Moneybarn for car finance but when I found a car that I wanted to buy they wouldn’t do it because it had done 72000 miles and the most they would do was 70k.
