Can you help me with a loan for a taxi that I need for my business. I have found a nearly new Vauxhall Insignia that I want but the car dealer has told me that they are unable to arrange taxi finance as their finance company does not do it. I am a sole trader and have been using a car provided by the firm I do a lot of work for but would now like to buy my own.

I want to buy a Kawasaki motorbike and have found a nice one at my local bike dealer. It is a Ninja ZX model, has only done 1500 miles and I am looking for a loan of £7500. I spoke to the dealer about motorbike finance but I was surprised to find that Black Horse finance were unable to help me. I did have a few financial problems but that was about 6 years ago and I now have a good job and just fancied a weekend toy. The dealer said I would need to arrange my own loan now as they don’t have any other finance companies.

I want to buy a van and went to my local Renault dealer to look at a nearly new Renault Master van which I think would suit my requirements. I agreed a deal with them but when it came to sorting out the van finance they told me that Renault Finance couldn’t help me because we haven’t been in business long enough. The price is £11,795 + VAT and I am VAT registered. I would like to borrow £10,000 over 4 or 5 years depending on the monthly payment and I will have my first set of accounts next week if you need to see them. Can you help?

Hi, I have a Vauxhall astra which I wanted to trade in for a newer model but I still have finance left to pay with Vauxhall finance. There is about 18 months left and I pay £250 a month so I must owe about £3750. I want to trade it in for a new one and I think it is worth about £5000 as we buy any car offered me this online. I spoke to a dealer the other day and they weren’t very helpful and said I would need to settle the finance before they would take it from me. I recently applied for a £15,000 loan with M&S. The APR advertised was 5.4%, their loan calculator said 7.6% and when I applied they said were unable to help me! I want to find the cheapest loan I can but I do need it reasonably quickly as I have found a car I want to buy. What is the lowest rate you can offer me please?
