Parking In Manchester

If you live on the outskirts or are just visiting Manchester for the day, parking spaces can be few and far between in such a big city centre. We recommend checking out the excellent public services first with frequent trains, buses and trams all running regular services between the city centre and surrounding areas.

If you need to take the car, there are numerous NCP Car Parks around the city, but these can be expensive, even for short stays. We recommend Store Street car park, just £6.50 for all day parking. Store Street is next to Manchester Piccadilly train station, just a few minutes walk from Manchester’s main shopping streets and the famous Northern Quarter. 

Car Dealers in Manchester

In such a big city, it can be difficult to know where to start when browsing for cars. There are various dealerships scattered all over the place, but Chester Road (A56) is an excellent starting point. Take the inner city ring road, Mancunian Way, and exit to the west of the city centre onto the A56. Chester Road can also be accessed via the Metrolink tram service, by alighting at Cornbrook Station. Dealerships on Chester road include Mini, Volkswagen, Vauxhall, Honda and Ford.
