Reliability isn’t something most buyers will really think about when looking for a car. It’s assumed in 2014 that every modern car should be reliable – unfortunately that’s not always the case, and more buyers are being caught out with expensive maintenance and repair costs. In these tough economic times, where car ownership costs are at an all-time high, we want to help you save money in any way possible. A reliable car doesn’t have to be a boring one either – using data from the Reliability Index, we’ve come up with a handy list of our top 5 favourite cars that won’t let you down!

Thankfully, you probably won’t need to worry about either of these – due to the fact that Toyota have a flawless reliability record. Both the engines and build quality are class-leading.
