Design

The 2015 Honda CR-V just oozes style. The update of the exterior gives it a fresh, new look that boasts smooth lines and a modern twist, with 17 inch alloys and daytime running lights fitted as standard.

The spacious interior has also been subject to some tweaks too, making it more simplistic while holding on to its original sophistication. And depending on which model and specifications you go for, you could be enjoying a whole lot more inside with leather interior, steering wheel and gear stick and heated front seats.

Features

There is an abundance of goodies to enjoy with this latest generation, including the Honda CONNECT Infotainment system, dual-zone climate control, cruise control, hill start assist and electric heated mirrors, which all add to the feeling of finesse the 2015 Honda CR-V has to offer. The top-end models also offer satellite navigation, high power audio, keyless smart entry, electric memory driver seats and even a panoramic glass roof!

Naturally, there are plenty of safety features too – including the new i-ACC system, which continually scans the road ahead while in cruise control and automatically applies gentle braking where necessary, for a smoother and safer ride.

You’ll be spoilt for choice with the added extras available (providing you can afford them all), and one thing’s for sure – even in the base ‘S’ model, you’ll feel like you’re driving in the lap of luxury.

Performance

Honda have gone all out with the all-new i-DTEC 160PS all-wheel drive, 9-speed automatic model, which sits at the top of the range. This engine uses twin stage turbo technology that’s said to deliver the best power-to-consumption ratio around. As you’d imagine, this improvement in consumption also makes it more economical and environmentally friendly than its predecessors too, returning 57.7mpg with just 129g/km in CO² emissions in the manual version.

The improved design with front castor and rack-mounted electric power steering gives you more control and better handling overall, whether you’re cruising on the motorway or tackling tougher terrain – making it a perfectly capable and comfortable drive.

This is a cracking facelift for the Honda CV-R, which should make it as popular as ever.
