What we know

Along with Paris and Geneva, the Frankfurt Motor Show is one of the world’s largest international car shows. Making the most of its spot on home turf, BMW will use the motor show to reveal two new plug-in hybrid concept cars which are guaranteed to cause a stir.

Along with the Peugeot Fractal concept car, the SEAT Ibiza Cupra’s facelift will also be debuted, ahead of its 2016 release date. The 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show will open its doors to the public on Thursday 17th of this month and run through to Sunday 27th – and with talent rolling in from around the globe, this year’s event is expected to be as impressive as ever.

What’s new?

MINI is no stranger to the spotlight and with the new Clubman entering the compact car market, this month’s motor show will provide the perfect platform for the British brand to get back in the public eye. And MINI is not the only Brit wanting in on the action – with Jaguar headed for Germany, too. The classic and sporty brand has faced scrutiny in recent years, but with the arrival of the new F-Pace, will the English manufacturer’s SUV finally help to silence its critics?

Nissan is also set to make waves, with the brand new Navara coming with a new design and stacks more safety equipment – while Alfa Romeo is bringing its Giulia to the motor show ahead of its summer 2016 release.
