From the early 70’s, the Corolla is one of Toyotas greatest rally cars. The Corolla couldn’t always match the power of its rivals, however it was known for its giant-killing performance.
Many say the Mini has driving behaviours similar to a Go-Kart. Rallying for the Minis started with the Cooper and later developed to the Cooper S. It went on to win numerous international rallies, the first being the Tulip Rally in 1962.
The 70’s Lancia Fulvia rally car was equipped with a V4 engine. The Lancia took an advantage as it also doubled as a compact family car. Whilst doing battle on some of the world’s most famous rally circuits.
