This weekend, hearts skipped across the globe at the announcement of the Kawasaki Ninja H2. This electrifying addition to the Ninja family promises death-defying performance figures and killer curves in one very compact and capable package.

Let’s take a closer look at what this kickass Kawasaki H2 has in store.

The Breakdown

Kawasaki are a brand renowned for anything but modesty. In the exhibitional form we’ve come to know and love, the Kawasaki Ninja H2 offers striking aesthetics, intimidating performance and all manners of innovative tech – with all bases covered and all eyes on this irresistible motorbike.

Officially the most powerful production motorbike ever created, the new Kawasaki Ninja looks to be a supervillain getaway vehicle of epic proportions. Complete with wings – which actually provide the practical benefit of stability – the upcoming H2 is a lean, mean, tarmac-tearing machine including carbon-fibre trimmings, indicators, a rear mudguard and stacked twin silencers. So if the teaser we’ve been given so far is anything to go by, the Ninja H2 is set to be a motorbike worthy of any rider’s wishlist.

The Numbers

The H2 may be a bona fide beauty, but it sure ain’t peacocking. What the Kawasaki offers in good looks, it equals in capability. Following the unveiling of the track-centric H2R earlier this year, the H2 offers access to an equally desirable street-legal version of this all-new Kawasaki Ninja. The track version promises a beastly 300bhp – making it a downright dangerous piece of machinery – thanks to a 998cc four-cylinder engine responsible for its certified ‘supercharged’ standing. And while the H2 couldn’t deliver on these figures while achieving street-legal status, you can expect formidable performance nonetheless.

All eyes are on the Japanese brand for the official unveiling of the Kawasaki Ninja H2 on the 4th of November this year – where the EICMA Show in Milan will host perhaps the most significant new bike launch this side of the millenium. In the meantime, we’ll be daydreaming about the H2’s exceptional bodywork and counting down the hours to K-Day.
