If you are going to Goodwood this weekend you may get to see Jaguar’s new single seater racer which is based on its new F-Type model.
Named after the company’s seven wins at Le Mans the Project 7 is an all aluminium roadster and has an 8 speed semi-automatic gearbox which is powered by a supercharged 5-litre engine that gives it a 0-62mph time of 4.2sec!!
Exterior changes to the F-Type include a fairing behind the driver, a rollover hoop and a new front splitter. There is also a chopped down windscreen, a new carbon fibre front spoiler and has 20” forged Blade alloy wheels.
The driver sits in a composite bucket seat 30mm lower than the standard F-Type and has a blue Project 7 Helmet.
