Design
The first thing that springs to mind when you look at the MSX125 is its stunning design. Straight away, it becomes apparent that this bike was designed with youth appeal in mind with its sleek and tough urban aesthetic – the MSX is an ideal bike for new riders. Thanks to its smaller design and 1.2 m wheelbase, the bike is a great about town and able to turn on a sixpence – while still providing enough oomph to outgun most cars.
Features
Don’t be fooled by its smaller engine, the MSX125 borrows much of its make-up from its bigger siblings. The nippy little bike features a rugged four-speed gearbox, bold colour options, and gold detailing. Its 5.5 litre fuel tank provides plenty of range for everyday driving – however you may fall short on longer journeys.
Performance
Its 125cc, twin-valve air-cooled single cylinder engine puts out a whopping 9.7 bhp – rocketing it to its top speed of 67 mph. Despite its size, the MSX’s engine puts out a lively performance and like all Hondas – it just loves being revved! Weighing in at just 101kg, the MSX125’s power-to-weight ratio is in its favour – making for an entertaining ride.
Overall, the Honda MSX125 is a practical, sporty bike ideal for both beginners and casual riders – and at just £2,799 it’s a relative bargain too!
