I have a question for you. I have found a Renault Kangoo 1.5 DCi that I would like to buy from a Renault dealer near me. I need to arrange to some finance and found your advert for WAV finance online. The Kangoo has been converted to make it wheel chair accessible and the conversion was done by a company called O & H Mobility. We need a vehicle like this because my daughter is disabled but the problem is that Renault finance won’t lend me enough. The car is priced at £12,000 and I have £2000 that I can put towards it but Renault finance are saying that they will need a £5000 deposit because it is priced over the recommended retail price. What they don’t seem to recognise is the cost of the conversion and don’t seem very helpful about helping us. Can you help?

What you have experienced is not uncommon as main stream lenders will simply look in their car valuation price guide and will lend up to the maximum that this says and like Renault Finance they will not lend enough to cover the expense of the conversion as they do not understand wav finance and how the conversion increases the value of the vehicle.
