Design

Renowned for its dedication to building classy cars, BMW never lets us down – and the ActiveHybrid 5 is no exception. As well as the obvious aesthetic exterior appeal that comes with with every 5 Series, this BMW hybrid has plenty more to offer. Climb into the cabin and the tight lines and lightweight materials make the interior feel light and spacious – and boot capacity is generous too, in spite of dropping by 145 litres to make way for the lithium-ion battery pack.

Performance & Handling

When it comes to performance, the BMW TwinPower Turbo engine reaches top speeds of 155mph. With 306bhp at its disposal, the BMW hybrid sprints from 0 to 62mph in just 5.9 seconds – and there’s more. With fuel consumption of 40.3mpg and CO2 emissions of 149g/km, this saloon won’t break the bank when it comes to running costs. In all-electric mode, the lithium-ion high performance battery can power the ActiveHybrid 5 up to 37mph.

Features

Standard kit on the BMW ActiveHybrid includes front and rear parking sensors, cruise control, electric windows, alloy and leather trim multi-functional steering wheel, a Sat Nav system and Bluetooth connection. If luxury is your top priority, you can upgrade to leather upholstery and larger alloys – although it will significantly hike up the price. Whatever trim level you opt for, it’s class all the way.

BMW Finance

If BMW hybrid cars have made their way onto your must-have list, the entry-level BMW ActiveHybrid 5 rolls in at £47,790 – meaning you’ll need a decent budget to finance this saloon. At the Car Loan Warehouse, we can help make your dreams a reality by finding a suitable finance deal for you.
