Design
From the four rings alone, you know you’re guaranteed a stylish, superior quality car – and the A6 lives up to Audi’s global reputation. The sweeping dashboard is typical of Audi’s classy styling and, thanks to a quality interior, this executive saloon outclasses its rivals. The latest A6 might be slightly shorter in length, but space in the cabin isn’t compromised – comfortably seating adults of any height. The boot offers a substantial 530 litres of space, and this increases to 995 litres when the rear seats are folded flat – meaning there’s plenty of storage for luggage of all sizes.
Performance & Handling
Despite its conservative appearance, the Audi A6 still packs plenty of punch. When it comes to performance, the entry-level 2.0 litre diesel is more than sufficient for this saloon. The 2.0 litre boasts a 0-62mph time of 8.4secs and tops out at 140mph. In terms of efficiency, annual road tax will cost just £30, thanks to CO2 emissions of 113g/km. If you’re in the market for a more powerful performer, there are three 3.0 litre diesel engines to choose from. Offering 218bhp, 268bhp and 316bhp, these engines return 60.1mpg, 55.4mpg and 47.1mpg respectively.
Features
When it comes to features, all A6s come with plenty of kit – meaning even the leather-trimmed entry-level model won’t disappoint. The basic SE model is equipped with front and rear parking sensors, Sat Nav, alloy wheels, four-zone climate control, LED rear lights and automatic lights and wipers. S line models come with an impressive amount of kit, adding bigger alloys, a sporty bodykit and electrically adjustable seats to the mix – and these come with a suitably hefty price tag.
