The 27th year of the Autosport International Show unveiled some great automotive treats for all the visitors. From sports car to supercars and even classic cars, there was plenty to take it.
Plenty of debuts too, including the Ford GT, new hybrid Honda NSX and the Aston Martin DB11, plus Jaguar F-type SVR and the convertible Porsche GT3 RS.
30 years since the impressive car paved its way onto the touring scene. There were 11 classic race-spec Ford Sierra RS500’S on display at the show.
A specifically modified Lamborghini Aventador and Ferrari 458 were presented by Liberty Walk UK. (Japanese founded exotic car tuning company). These cars had never been seen in the UK before, until last weekend.
40 years marking the anniversary of the Williams F1 Team this year. Celebrated at the show, Williams brought along some of the iconic machines of their racing, including the FW14B and the FW18 which were originally driven by Nigel Mansell and Damon Hill.Classic Team Lotus was also celebrating 50 years of their Lotus 49 at the show.
Nico Rosberg’s Mercedes AMG F1 car was also on display, along with two stunning cars owned by YouTube star SHMEE150. Who displayed his Aston Martin Vantage GT8 alongside a McLaren 675 LT.
Marking 50 years of rallying there were some great Audi Quattro’s on show. 3 decades on the Quattro and it’s still looking as good as ever.
The Live action arena was something else! Filled with engine smoke, loud music and flashing lights. Everything from the stock cars to the new electric GT raced around the indoor track. The first ever attempt for a loop the loop in a stock car with a passenger was even attempted last weekend. See the video on our Facebook page.
